Studio Lani was born from a desire to have a creative space.
The word lani is the Hawaiian word for heaven.
It all began on a spring day in Hoi An, Vietnam. Something told me to go to a supply shop to pick up a notebook and some art tools. All they had were childrens’ watercolour sets. I bought a cup of coffee, made an origami paper cup to hold water, and found a tourist brochure to use as a palette and the rest is history!
My mission is simple: I would like to translate the visions in my head to a physical form, through painting as a medium.
My work is a reflection of the world around me and the people that have deeply touched my life with their stories.
I would like their stories to be intertwined with our lives, to leave a sense of hope, happiness, and peace in our daily lives.
May your life be filled with peace and beauty.
Love,
